6 Presidents Report
Our second year has brought much learning, great skills and talents to CWS. Many varied craft classes are offered. Thank you to those who
give their time to lead those classes. A storage shed has been rented to safely and conveniently store the many donated craft supplies. Our
main focus remains a Shed of our own. Many hours have been spent approaching decision makers with some encouraging responses. Thank
you to those who nominated CWS for Community Awards and grateful to be included. Bank builder (voluntary donation at events) has been
introduced to create funds for grant submission and has had a positive response. We endeavour to provide a welcome environment for growth
for all women. Partners are welcome to social activities. Appreciation for the work of the Executive and Activities Organiser
Eve moved to increase fees for 2025/2026 to $45.00 due to ever rising running costs. e.g. insurance per member is $29.00.

8 Membership & Governance report
Bre reminded us of the importance of women supporting women and how wonderfully diverse CWS membership is, as we continue to grow in numbers and skills. It has been a mutual honour to have Bre serve as our Governance and membership lead as she steps away to pursue the Silver Nomad life. She will always be available for governance matters and support.

Eve invited Kim McCosker to share her story. As a busy working Mum with three small children a need to simplify the evening meal grew into a worldwide recipe book business. Kim spoke of the importance of marketing and social media and giving back to followers and community. She enthusiastically shared contacts for funding and exposure and fully supports our endeavors. The meeting thanked Kim and concluded at 11.30.
